I think it is fantastic that you know that you enjoy working with electronics. There are so many different types of jobs out there that would support this passion! I would highly encourage you to get specific about more of the details on what EXACTLY you want to do and develop those skills and look for those opportunities around you.

It's important to pick a career in a field with which you enjoy. My recommendation is to figure out specifically what aspect of electronics interests you. Is it the design? Is it demonstrating or explaining it to others? Is it developing new technology within the electronics field to make the world a better place? Whatever it is you are most passionate about is where you should focus your attention and learning.

You could absolutely could find a job in electronics. There are so many career paths you could take. There are new jobs/careers that are added to the field everyday from computer IT, Networking to Cloud Based programs.

George recommends the following next steps:

Become aware of the opportunities that exists. Electronics is a huge industry so be open to exploring new opportunities
Find a network of peers that are “like minded” where you can become more engaged in activities and programs.
Seek advice from school counselors and advisors. Research programs and internship opportunities in your area that offer opportunities in electronics.
