Starting from the bottom and moving up will offer you the best experience. Hospitality, biz/biz development and management classes is a great focus-- but also some general sales would be excellent.

It would be good to start off entry level, try to learn as much from each department in the hotel and then work your way up to a supervisory role, and management. You will most like start off in a smaller hotel as a GM but you can grow from there if you desire. Goodluck.
