Having a successful business as an entrepreneur depends on many factors. Have a strong business plan, possibly work with others in the brainstorming stage, have enough capital to start it, and know that you fail but how you bounce back and stay strong matters the most.

Having a successful business in the maintenance area will require some experience in maintenance, and some training in running a business. Its a hard business to start out in. It would probably be best if you worked for a company first, and got some experience and then start up your own business.
