It is so good to hear you have found your passion and are looking to work toward it! To start, why don't you try interning or working at a law firm? It will help you get some real hands on experience while making connections in your field of choice. Good luck!
Hi Priya - Glad to see you have an ambitious goal! Be prepared for the heavy writing, reading, and research that law school will require. I recommend that you get to work on building a writing portfolio- which is a collection of your writing assignments from your college coursework. Create a space on your computer or a hard drive that you can keep all your written works (think papers/essays related to justice studies/social science courses) within a folder. I also recommend that when you start any law-related courses you should be persistent in building a relationship with your professor as they are an expert in the field and will be a great supporter for your career. Best of luck to you!
