The number of credits depends on: the university, type of degree (ged, associates, bachalors, masters, etc.), program (chemistry is generally more credits than literature), and if you pass all your classes. What degree and school are you aiming for?

Different states have different requirements. And different subjects might have different requirements. I’m retired now and I only had to take THREE courses to get my teaching license. It’s not like that anymore.

Believe it or not, experience is the best teacher. I really learned how to teach once I had my own classroom.

Talk to your favorite teachers and ask them what they had to do to become a teacher!
See if any teachers you like would let you observe them teaching!
