What's the best way to contact a college about a major?

What would you be contacting them to ask about? They could refer you to online materials about the courses involved in the major, but are you looking for something more specific? The information you're looking for determines the best source, especially as, for example, admissions and curriculum are managed separately at most schools.

Why would you contact a college to ask about a major. The information is mostly all online!

There are several ways:
- Phone - not email - the admissions office at the college to gain information and have them direct you to specific people in the college to answer specific questions that you might have.
- Phone - not email - the head of Alumni Relations at the college to arrange to talk to graduates of that school who might live and work in your local area, so that you could learn from them.
