How does one go about getting accepted into colleges, what looks good?
I want to know what I can due during my school career to give me the best chances of being accepted. #college #admissions

Colleges look at many factors in assessing your potential for acceptance. Here's some they'll consider:
1. The area(s) of study you're interested in or that are present in your background.
2. Your GPA, past classes completed, and testing scores.
3. Your potential to financially support your education plans.
4. Your ability to communicate (why many still ask for a short essay on the application).
5. Scholarships, awards, honors, and references.
6. Community service, clubs, and volunteer participation (generally considered pluses).
