In some countries or regions, there are substitute jurors to produce and listen to cases with jurors. If the official jurors cannot complete the work for some reason, the substitute jurors will take over and vote. In other places, if a juror quits halfway, it is necessary to dissolve the original jury, re-elect a new jury, and restart the trial process. If a juror is absent from the trial without reasonable reason, it is illegal and can be prosecuted by law.
