I would start with looking at different schools and there programs. Illinois Institute of technology is a great one in Chicago. Sci-arc in Los Angeles is also great to look into. Most state colleges offer a 4year program.
Also you will need to get license but that will take a few years because you'll have to put some time in the industry . Age wise, you probably will not become an official licensed architect until you're like 28-30. That's if you're on top of your game.
