Ahmed’s Answer

For an independent film, take about three to six months for pre-production and one to two months for principal photography, and then take maybe six months to a year for post-production.

Thomas’s Answer

"As can be seen, that typically a movie takes around 10 to 14 months to make. The movie cannot be released immediately since a distributor has to be found for each country where the film is intended to be released. "
