How big of a difference is going to college and not going to college?

I've noticed that high school definitely emphasized the idea of going to college and getting good grades. If you are a person who started their career right after you have graduated highschool, do you have any regrets or wish you should have gone to college? #college #career #high-school #life

Baker’s Answer

Tiffanie,
This subject has great depth. In my opinion, college is much more valuable when it is applied directly to a career path. If you go to college, and you can see what it will bring to your future, then it's a great choice.

Gail’s Answer

Hi Tiffanie,

I am in a business related field and most if not all the employers are looking for a college degree in a related area. True, you can be hired for jobs that don't require a degree but I think the market is much tougher.

Good luck!
Gail

Ken’s Answer

hi Tiffanie!

Not everyone in every career area needs to go to college. There are many, many people who are very successful in their career area without going to college. The most important thing for a person to do is to choose an appropriate career area and do what is necessary to be successful in that area.
