Jobs typically tied to genetics deal with medicine or research. You can do things that involve helping people like medical studies or animal testing/etc. or you can become a researcher. They involve a lot of genetic modiciations. Actually, lots of our fruits in the US are GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms) who have had their genes modified to be bigger/tastier/more resilient to environmental stresses. Mosanto is a major player in this space.
