Nicholas’s Answer

Agree with Annissa's advice of creating to-do lists. I use a sticky note and put it right where I will see it during the day! Sometimes, something doesn't get crossed off for many days, and that's ok.

Some other tips:
1. If something is going to take you 5 minutes or less, do it NOW. Don't wait until later.
2. Drink tons of water all day long. Many people are constantly dehydrated without knowing it, which affects focus.
3. Eat a healthy diet. What you eat contributes to how you feel and how your brain functions. Low on processed foods, high on green vegetables, fruits, and nuts.
4. Get 8 hours of sleep, or as close as you can. Those extra hours will lead to much better focus.
5. Work out every day for at least 30 minutes. Research shows that even very limited exercise has huge positive impacts on health and quality of life. Walking around the block counts!

Annissa’s Answer

Make lists. Make to-do lists with priorities. A lot of people say to start with the hardest thing, but I disagree. I like to start with a few of the simple tasks so that I see them crossed off on my list and then tackle the larger task. Take breaks. Not everything will get done in one day and accept that.
