I guess it depends on the company and role you work in, but on the whole I imagine it varies quite a bit. Installation is probably a 9-to-5 job. Maintenance often needs to be scheduled in a low-usage time, so for most buildings, I'd expect that to be a night-shift activity. Breakdown repairs is likely to be an on-demand job, so you might be on a call-out rota for any hours.
