Ty’s Answer

This is a very subjective question. As a police officer you will experience every possible challenge imaginable. One thing you will experience regardless of department is that the job is very demanding of your time, to include personal. You may work a shift, but in a sense you're always on duty. As an LEO (Law Enforcement Officer) you will develop skills to observe and look for specific things, over time you'll find yourself doing it even when you're not on duty.
The hardest part is to not bring work home into the house.

Vincent’s Answer

The hardest part about being a police officer is the shift work. It can make sleeping difficult, and cause you to miss personal family events. You will also experience things that most people will never. You have to shoulder the shortcomings of society and deal with people who are having the worst day of their lives. That being said, it’s a noble profession worth doing.
