If my study permit does not allow 20-hour working per week, wether I can do volunteering in workplace?

I am business student so internship will play an important role in my early career. I have some friends who work in banks, can I ask them give me volunteer chances? #commercial-banking

Internship is an great opportunity for you to learn about the real life working environment and gain working experience. Financial Institutions usually would post the openings on their website. You can check their website from time to time. On the other hand, you can also send email to their HR department to check.
