If I remember correctly, the Navy chooses your job for you based on your ASVAB test scores and their needs. The only branch that I know allows you to choose your MOS (military speak for job) is the Army.

Great question. Although I am not in the Navy Reserve, I am in the Army there are so many jobs available. You van find rewarding work in fields ranging from Health Care to Chaplaincy; Electronics to Cryptology; Law enforcement to Computer Science; just to name a few.


I applaud you for wanted to be a selfless servant by serving your country. I salute you.
