To be a medical assistant, you have to be detail-oriented, committed to accuracy, empathic, and adaptable. Good interpersonal skills are a must. You must also be able to multitask. You should be well-organized, capable of prioritizing and problem-solving, and able to collaborate with teammates.

It can come naturally it just depends on the person. You can go to a technical college or career college to either get a diploma in 9-12 weeks or Degree in 2 years.

If you like helping others and would like to work with patients and doctors in a clinic or hospital then give medical assistant a try. You will be trained at school and on the job and there are many areas you can work in good luck.
