Thank you for your question. I can understand a lot of students may feel anxiety to move forward to another stage. In fact, we have also experienced that stage.
In fact, the changes happen naturally. Don't worry too much!
After you enter the college, you may stay in dorm or stay with your classmates, i.e. you are no longer stay with you family. This is a good training for you to live independently. On the other hand, you may also take up part time work. This may subsidize your live and school fee partially but you may still partially financially dependent on your family.
After you graduate, you will start full time work. Then, you will become financially independent as well. When you have your own family, you may have to take care of your own family.
This is a stereotype only. Different people may have different live. Hope this gives you some insights of different stages of live! Good Luck!

Arban’s Answer

Hello Vincent,

this is a great question as life is moving very quickly and before you know it you will be finished with college and will enter the real adult world. When it comes to college its similar to high school in ways but its also different. You need to be prepared for the amount of work you will be getting as now you enter the stages of school where you learn things you never knew about and take notes. Come your second and third year you will need to start looking for internships in order to get a taste of the industry you would like to work in and that helps you build connections with companies and will make the job process easier for you in the long run. As far as responsibilities when you become an adult there can be a lot such as, paying any bills you have ( phone, rent, car, credit cards), taking care of yourself and your family and beginning your adulthood life!

Sikawayi’s Answer

Hello Vincent, thank you for your question. This is such a great question because there are so many young people who wonder the same thing about their future but are too afraid to ask. First of all, I would suggest that you start off by taking on a little responsibility at a time if you try and take it all on at one time you're going to crash and burn. You can do it a little at a time by letting mom and dad help you fill out your application for college, but you need to be the one to do the research on the school. Next if you start working take on the responsibility of buying your own clothes, books personal expenses. Don't worry about becoming an adult all at once you will grow up little by little. Lastly there will be times you feel like running back to mom and dad when you're unsure of yourself that's ok, they will understand but by this time you will be grown up enough to know you can't stay in that spot. Best of luck
