At least a year before you graduate High school. Look on line for scholarships. There are all kinds, for many different categories. For example:
A company might be offering a $1000., scholarship if you are a girl.

Another company $2500 because you like Science. Etc. Etc. The different types of scholarships are endless.

And of course there are the local s
state and government grants. I wish you the best of luck.

Absolutely worth it. It’s essentially free money you do not have to pay back.
There is no limit to how many scholarships you can receive either. So apply to as many as you can. Should work towards any private schooling and college classes.
