The hardest thing about real estate are two things. First, the industry is cyclical and follows the economy. It seems to have a couple really busy years followed by a year of quiet due to a slower economy, etc. The second thing is that it is not a big industry (other than home sales) and is sometimes harder to find things and "break into" the industry.
