I do not know if cosmetology is what I want to do. How do I know if this is the right career?

Some of my favorite hobbies are drawing, painting, anything art related. I also enjoy doing people's hair.

Hi Sabrina. I would say maybe find a job in that field (beauty bar, wax bar..etc) and apply and see if you like being in that environment. I would also suggest trying to figure out a particular area in cosmetology that you actually like, and depending on what you like (for ex. nails... try practicing nails on other people and see if you actually enjoy doing it.) I think the biggest thing is figuring out if you enjoy the work and if you like being in that space.
