Hi Patrick,
First of all, congratulations on making it through high school! Below are my top 3 tips for students who are about to graduate:
1) Use this time to pursue education + experiences that keep as many doors open for you as possible. Whether you're going to college, straight to working full time, or learning or trade, now is your time to learn about all of the options that are out there and keep exploring new doors as they open.
2) Identify people you trust to help you make decisions. Ideally, this will include a few adults (parents, teachers, coaches, etc) and a few peers (trusted friends). As you become more independent, it can be easy to feel like you have to figure it all out on your own. Remember that you have people in your corner and talk to them when you need support!
3) Don't put pressure on yourself to know exactly what you want to do once you graduate. It is important to have goals + dreams, but you don't have to reach them the day after you graduate!
