What are the chances of finding a music education job after graduation?

I keep hearing that arts/music programs are being cut so I am a little nervous about being able to find a job after graduation. #musiceducation

Hi, Madeline!
The market is always there, if you're willing to do the work. When I was fresh out of university, I started by hitting up local shows of any kind and getting to know people in the local industry. Then I started advertising myself for private lessons as a side gig. Through this, I was able to land several jobs. It's all about connections. Getting out there is scary, but it opens so many doors! Having some private teaching under your belt is an easy way to break into the industry as well - it gets your name out there! Best of luck!

Hi Madeline! I would definitely talk to students in current arts/ music programs and colleges and see what kind of job opportunities they have had. You can also be an arts or music teacher. I would think about if that is something you would be interested in. You can contact a teacher and learn about their experience!
Good luck!
