Take a look at this data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. They are a great resource for this sort of information. https://www.bls.gov/oes/current/oes472111.htm#st
According to the BLS, the states with the highest annual mean wage for electricians are Alaska, Hawaii, Illinois, New York, and Washington D.C. Having more years of experience, working in the manufacturing and power generation and transmission industries, and belonging to a union also increase wages.
Finally, I noticed that you tagged your question electrical engineering. Electricians are involved with building and maintaining electrical systems, while electrical engineers are involved with designing electrical, electronic, and communication equipment.

Hi Calvin,
As a journeyman electrician myself, it all depends on where you want to work and live. If you open to move about the country, look for the booming places, where lots of new construction are taking place, either commercial or electrical.
As of July 2021, really good places are NC, SC, FL, TX, NV and AZ, all these states have growing city's and suburbs which will require many skilled upcoming electricians, both residential and commercial.
Hope that helps the search,
Chris
