Hello Michael,

It's great to see that you're considering two exciting options in the medical field - becoming a nurse or a doctor. Your passion for this career path is evident!
For the first option, the 12-month Accelerated Baccalaureate Program is perfect for individuals like you who have already completed a bachelor's degree. Whether you studied at the State University of New York at Stony Brook or another similar institution, this intensive nursing program will award you a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in nursing.

As for the second option, you can find more information about the Online Accelerated Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program at this link: https://www.pace.edu/program/online-accelerated-doctor-of-nursing-practice-dnp. The American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) states that DNP programs usually require three to five years of full-time study. If you're interested in exploring more options, check out these additional links:

Wishing you the best of luck in your medical journey!

My initial inquiry is, what is your objective? As a nurse with these advanced degrees what do you aim to achieve? Typically, it takes 4 years to complete a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), an additional 2 years for a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), and 2 more years for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). I am not familiar with any fast-track options.
