Enise’s Answer

Hello there,

You should join art club in your college, or you may wish to take in in-person courses in academy courses before the university, or you can look at the paintings in museums, and ask questions to everyone who works there, and learn more about paintings when looking at arts. In terms of planning, you should have exams to test yourself before the university or during the high school in your college - and you can practice on painting: look at paintings on the website and find types of paintings, and/or you can buy painting books which you can learn from books.

I hope this helps.

Plan to major or minor in the type of art you want to pursue in college. Take as many courses as you can related to art, but you will also want a solid foundation related to business if you want to make it your career. A business class or two could really help you as you determine how you want to invest in your supplies and then how much to charge for your art to make a profit.

Don't limit yourself. If you want to do visual art, take some graphic design classes, too, so that you have a wider set of skills, which will also expand your creativity.

You can always try to start selling your designs and pieces via social media or a platform like Etsy.
