During my high school years, I had the opportunity to participate in a career-oriented training program. This program allowed me to take a course on Computer Aided Design & Drafting, a crucial skill in the field of architecture.
In the realm of architecture, it's essential to have a strong understanding of math and geometry, coupled with a keen interest in art. This combination of skills allows architects to create structures that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Architecture is a ubiquitous aspect of our lives. It spans a wide array of styles, from the classic Greek and French designs to the more contemporary Modern and Industrial styles. Each style has its own unique characteristics, offering different elements and aesthetics. There are numerous books available that delve into the nuances of these architectural styles, highlighting their distinct features and how they diverge from one another.
Check out a book on Architecture
Look online for Blueprints to see how they are laid out
Check into Construction trades - Architect is usually onsite to verify
Check into public periodicals - Architectural Digest etc.

Hi Lane,
Architecture is a combination of engineering and art, so you should be creative, and good at math and physics.
You study for your bachelors in architecture for 5 years. Make sure the program is accredited. Before you can take the exam to become a licensed architect, you need 3 years of work experience in the profession, typically an internship with experienced architects.
