Davoud’s Answer

For starters, actually read the subject materials. The next thing to remember is to copy your notes to re-burn them into your mind. Writing them once in class or at home then looking at them a week later before the exam is not helpful and can often overwhelming for me when i was a student. Study in waves.

Ryan’s Answer

Hi Alexis,

Congrats on the upcoming College career!! How exciting.

Ask yourself:

1. Are you a morning person or an evening person? When are you the most focused, productive or present during a given day?
2. Use your calendar app to block off time during these "productivity zones" to study
3. Be diligent about the calendaring, because if you don't control your calendar someone ultimately will do it for you

Ryan recommends the following next steps:

Download a calendar app - I use GCAL and start setting a routine!
Don't overcrowd or overstuff your calendar, try and set buffers in between your meetings
