how hard is it to be a firefighter

I don't have specific experience here myself, but my best friend became a fireman at the age of 18. It will be a test as you will have to be able to pass physical and mental endurance tests to be accepted into Fire College. Then, you will have to go through very extensive training for approximately a month passing physical and written tests. It's doable if you are motivated, committed, and passionate about helping people. Being a firefighter is a very admirable position in life, you just need to be completely dedicated to it.
