#Spring25 How can I get more scholarships?
As a white male high school senior. Going to University of North Dakota for a major in Commercial Flight, and then a secondary backup major into UAS. Working off of a scholarship from the EAA to get my Private license in a year, and come in as a Freshman starting my second pilot certification.

Hey Josiah! To get more scholarships, start by searching for aviation-specific ones through organizations like AOPA, Women in Aviation (some are open to men), and local aviation clubs. Check your university’s financial aid office regularly for departmental or donor-funded scholarships that may open up during the year. Keep applying to general scholarships as well, especially those based on leadership, academics, or community service. Tailor your applications to highlight your aviation goals, EAA involvement, and progress toward your certifications. Staying proactive and applying consistently can open up more funding than you might expect. Good luck!
