Should I get a student job my freshman year?

I will be attending a rigorous university and I'm wondering if I should start out by getting a job my freshman year or wait until after I know how intense classes will be Britain

It's a great way to gain experience, valuable skills and earn extra money. Apply early to any on-campus job as they fill up quickly.
Talk to your peers and upper classmen and reach out to your professors for research opportunities or just to assist them.
Most jobs for a freshman may be off-campus though, so you have to make sure that you have time to do both college and your job. Look for flexibility and remote work if possible.

Good luck
