How can I make college as affordable as possible for my family?

My family is having some trouble figuring out how we will pay for college, I know I have to keep applying for scholarships but it feels like there's more to do.

Start by applying for scholarships; there are so many available. I attended a city college for my degree, and it was just as good as a private college, but much more affordable. Consider state or city colleges, apply for financial aid, and look into the work-study programs at each school you consider.

Balancing work and study can be tough, but you’ve got what it takes. Getting a job on campus is ideal, but working off-campus is also an option. As a last resort, look into student loans at school, and try to steer clear of private loans.
