You should know that AI tools like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and other code-generation platforms are already capable of automating many of these functions with increasing speed, accuracy, and scalability. However, this does not mean the end of coding jobs. Instead, you should think of the nature of those jobs would be evolving. From an employer’s perspective, rather than eliminating the profession, AI is elevating the expectations for developers to contribute at a higher level, emphasizing creativity, architectural thinking, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration. Arnold developers will need to become proficient not only in writing code but in orchestrating AI-driven development workflows, validating machine-generated outputs, and integrating AI systems responsibly and ethically. In essence, while AI will automate parts of the coding process, it will also create demand for new skill sets and roles, such as AI system trainers, prompt engineers, and human-in-the-loop specialists, ensuring that coding careers remain viable, but transformed.
