Why is the music industry dominated by males?

I want to be a music producer and as a female I think it'll be hard because the music industry is dominated by males and there's not enough room for females in the industry and you have to do outrages thing to make it and become successful. #Music #music-industry #gender-equality #career

Thank you comment icon I think now females are showing they too can excel in the music industry. There are just as many women dominating the charts as male. So no matter what, know and understand that you too can be successful in the music industry if that's the path you'd like to take. Shamecca Nelson

Hi Olivia! Take your focus off the men! Just be great at what you do. Work hard. Don't think about other women or men being successful. Just take care of you and your output and vibe in the world. When you are excellent at your craft, the right people will be drawn to you. Immerse yourself in your talents and doing what you love. Learn all you can. Don't worry about "success" or it being a "man's game." Keep your head in your music and where you are going - let the others be. :) Keep at it, dear heart!

Do not focus on others in the industry, apply your efforts in becoming the best. Prepare, study within the field, gain the credentials that set you apart from others. I am a male and work in a predominate male field but thankfully that didn't stop women from joining our field. Some of my best employees have been the female engineers on my team.
