How do I deal with burn out?
I've recently been accepted to the College of Engineering at NC State and plan on majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Though I've come such a long way, I've been putting off a lot of work to the side that I know I need to do, and I don't know why. I feel burnt out, and I'm not quite sure what to do.

Hi David,
It's completely normal to procrastinate a little! Maybe try using a handwritten to-do list. Crossing off tasks can feel like a big achievement each day.
For burnout, consider reaching out to a friend. Going out or having a chat can really help. Everyone experiences burnout at some point. If it feels ongoing, visiting a doctor might be a good idea to check for any underlying issues.

Congratulations! With so much to do, make a list of tasks and rank them by urgency and importance. You can't do everything at once, but you can plan which tasks to tackle each week.
