Congrats on making the leap to go back to school! Education is valuable on so many levels, and not just for getting the degree you receive at the end of your studies. We live in a world where information is abundant and technology, no matter the industry, is advancing at an incredible rate; having a love for learning even beyond your college years will serve you greatly in you career.
While you are at school, learn how you learn. Figure out in what ways you absorb information, conduct research and use the tools readily available to us to help you learn. Knowing how you learn at that stage will help you so much as learn new skills throughout your career.
Learn how to enjoy learning as well. In my time in University, it was hard for me to love to learn because of the stress that I put on my studies and pressure I put on myself. I should have learned to love it and tried to understand the power that knowledge gives me! Understanding the value that continuous learning can add to our careers and even just our day to day lives will go a long way!
In short; learn how YOU learn and learn to love it. It will be so valuable to you in ANY career path that you choose.

Going back to school is a huge step toward building the future you want. For me, studying gives me the new skills, confidence, and connections I need to move forward. Every class, every project feels like one more step closer to where I want to be. It’s exciting (and a little scary), but definitely worth it!
