How do you best maximize time with teachers/advisors/etc. at larger schools?

I'm currently considering CSULB as my college, which is a lot larger than my other choice; and I was just wondering how do I best maximize my time with any help I receive? Thanks!

Hi Laila - Great question, I think preparation is key. Come to the meeting with a clear agenda of what goals you are trying to accomplish by jotting down a few points such as - are there topics where you are having difficulty? Is their specific feedback the instructor has to help you with those topics? Is there anything beyond the standard curriculum they would recommend to elevate your understanding of the topics? Any books or articles they recommend? Good luck!
