How does this platform work, and how can I make the most of it?

- As questions around college or careers occur to you, search for previous questions and answers. They may answer or at least refine your question.
- If your question isn't answered already, write it as you did now. Add details that will help people customize their answer for you. For example, if your intended major is relevant to the answer, include that information. Or if you are asking about colleges and want to go to a specific geographical area, include which area. Putting more thought into your question will result in a more thoughtful response.
- If you have insights about a question, share them. Students especially value input from knowledgeable peers.
- Acknowledge answers. Even a brief thank you demonstrates your courtesy and brightens the day of the advisor.

I am a professional working as an auditor in public accounting that joined the CareerVillage platform not long ago. From what I have gathered this platform is for anyone to ask any questions they are curious about and guidance relating to their future career. Everyone is happy to offer their insight on whatever question you may have! I'd say try to be specific if you are able and be open minded to everyone has to say but it's important to stay true to what you want and deem is best for yourself.
