That's a hard question to answer. There are different rates as there are different studios. A lot of course depends on experience, quality of work, how much you know and so much more.

Since I myself worked overseas, the pay is much different then here in the states. In Asia making $2000 to as much as $8000 a month is not unheard of. So from that stand point I would think the pay is maybe slightly better in the states.
