Good Day Ma.Lourdes!

In the USA, a Web Developer creates, designs, and maintains websites and web applications by writing code using programming languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to bring designs to life and ensure functionality, user experience, and technical performance. Their work involves translating client or designer needs into interactive, user-friendly web pages and applications, as well as handling aspects like website speed, capacity to handle traffic, and ongoing maintenance and enhancements.
What Web Developers Do

Code Websites:
They write the code that makes websites work, using languages like HTML (for structure), CSS (for styling), and JavaScript (for interactivity).

Design & Structure:
They ensure the website has a cohesive, professional design and layout, working with graphic designers or creating their own mockups and prototypes.
Ensure Functionality:
They build the technical aspects of websites, ensuring they load quickly, are compatible with different browsers and devices, and can handle user traffic.
Maintenance & Updates:
After a site is built, developers are responsible for its upkeep, implementing changes, and enhancing its features over time.
Collaboration:
They work with various teams, including designers, other developers, and stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver products.

Specializations

Front-End Developers:
Focus on the user-facing parts of a website, creating the visual elements and interactive features that users see and use directly.
Back-End Developers:
Work on the server-side of websites, handling databases, server logic, and application development that users don't directly see.
Full-Stack Developers:
Proficient in both front-end and back-end development, capable of managing all aspects of a web project.
