Armando de Jesús’s Answer

Hi Tamirez,

Welding can be challenging at first, but with the right training and consistent practice, it becomes a highly rewarding and valuable skill. It requires strong hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of safety procedures.

One of the most important aspects of welding is learning how to work with different materials and techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding, each suited to specific applications. Safety is also essential, as welders work with high temperatures and intense light, so using proper protective gear and following safety protocols is a must.

If you enjoy hands-on work and creating things that are built to last, welding is a great career path to consider. It’s also worth noting that this skill can be learned through trade schools, especially in programs for pipefitters or millwrights, which offer practical training and open doors to well-paying jobs in the field

Don’s Answer

Hello Tamirez,

Welding is a very useful skill that people can do through training and practice. Good things about welding include the high demand for people, you don't need a degree but usually training, depending on where you work it can pay very well, there is many different types of welding and much more. Depending on your skill level welding can be easy or very difficult but this is something that you would need to practice. I would definitely suggest trying if you are interested and see where it can take you. Best of luck to you!
