##Fall25 What is the top list of minors to pair with a major in Finance?

Beyond my interests, I'm looking for an expert list of minors to pair with Finance in this economy. There are articles suggesting that a lot of Finance jobs will go away with AI. Trying to prepare myself.

Thank you comment icon Hello Zain, Great question! My peers above have forgotten to mention the Justice Degree. Law and Finance make a great match together. From my international perspective there are a lot of economists here in Balkans (Albania) who have both degrees. Not me, unfortunately :-). Blessing follows you always. Isida Mici

Honestly, if you want to stay relevant in a world where AI is reshaping finance, think beyond traditional courses. Pair your Finance major with skills that make you adaptable. Two great options are:
• Data Analytics or Data Science – These will help you understand and interpret the massive amounts of data driving financial decisions.
• AI-focused courses or certifications – Learning how AI works and how it’s applied in business will keep you ahead as automation becomes the norm.

In addition to those, here are some other High-Value Minors to Future-Proof Your Career:
• Computer Science – Gives you coding and technical problem-solving skills.
• Cybersecurity – Finance is a prime target for cyber threats.
• Econometrics / Statistics – Deepens your ability to model and predict financial trends.
• Behavioral Economics / Psychology – Understanding human decision-making is key in markets and product design.
• Supply Chain & Operations – Global finance is tied to logistics and risk management.
• Sustainability / Environmental Studies – ESG investing and green finance are booming.
• Entrepreneurship / Innovation – Prepares you for leadership and adaptability in changing markets.
• International Business / Global Studies – Finance is global; cultural and geopolitical awareness matters.
• Information Systems – Bridges business and tech for roles in fintech and digital transformation.
• Communication / Public Speaking – Soft skills are still critical for leadership and client-facing roles.
