Where can Radiologist Technicians work?

I'm a current freshman in college working to get a Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology. I know I want to be in the MRI or Sonography specialty, but I can't think of any other place I would be able to work in than a hospital. Where else could I be able to work? #Fall25

Hi Melissa! There are many places to work in those modalities outside of the hospital setting. Even outpatient imaging clinics have MRI machines. Sonography is obviously more portable, but many clinics and dr offices have sonographers working in them. Cardiologists, OB offices, family practice, renal specialists, orthopedic clinics (MSK ultrasound), endocrinologists (thyroids, etc). There is even mobile practices that travel to patients homes or assistive and skilled nursing facilities. Hope this helps!
