Which companies should you avoid as an aspiring pharmacist ?

I've heard mixed reviews on being a pharmacist. What I could tell was that it wasn't really for everyone, but most people are adamant on avoiding CVS.

This is a tricky one to answer. You're right that the pharmacy profession as a whole isn't for everyone. Same with working at different companies. One person may thoroughly enjoy working in a place and another person may absolutely hate working in that same place. There are pharmacists that don't mind working at CVS, for instance, and others who loathe CVS. It's all dependent on individual experiences. What I'll tell you, though, is that a degree in pharmacy can open up doors in numerous places, so you're not limited to CVS or other retail stores. You can work in pharmaceutical companies or in biotechnology companies. You can work at the FDA, you can also work as a consultant or in a hospital. With so many opportunities, it's hard to narrow it down to "these are the companies to avoid". I hope this was helpful.

Make sure you just love pharmacy in general. I am in retail at a big box store but overall I love being a pharmacist every day. Outlook is so important.
