Looking back on your career, what is the one challenge or pivotal choice that most reshaped who you are as a professional, and what advice would you give a student so they’re prepared when their own transformative moment arrives?

I’m in my second year of college, working toward becoming an elementary school teacher. I’ve always been drawn to helping children learn, especially through tutoring and creating simple, creative ways to explain new ideas. I’m patient, empathetic, and a strong communicator—skills I’ve grown through reading, writing, and staying organized in both school and life.
I’m asking this question because I want to learn from people who have already gone through the turning points that shaped their careers. Understanding their experiences will help me prepare for the challenges and breakthroughs I’ll face as a future educator.
