Looking back on your career, what is the one challenge or pivotal choice that most reshaped who you are as a professional, and what advice would you give a student so they’re prepared when their own transformative moment arrives?
I’m in my second year of college, working toward becoming an elementary school teacher. I’ve always been drawn to helping children learn, especially through tutoring and creating simple, creative ways to explain new ideas. I’m patient, empathetic, and a strong communicator—skills I’ve grown through reading, writing, and staying organized in both school and life. I’m asking this question because I want to learn from people who have already gone through the turning points that shaped their careers. Understanding their experiences will help me prepare for the challenges and breakthroughs I’ll face as a future educator.
As a senior in high school, what is the difference in the perspective of life of some who HAS went to college from someone who HAS NOT?
I want to go to college for Business Administration/Management. I just want to know if the college experience and the work toward the degree would be worth the time spent.
History Teachers: What are some of the most memorable or impactful history lessons you've taught or lessons you've seen??
What is the most important thing you want your students to take from your history class after high school? 10th grade, interested in us, and world history. I want to go to bgsu or terra in Ohio to be a history major.
