How will I make it?
I am an upcoming senior, I’m stressed about what I want to become and where I’m going to end up. I know I want to help children and do something in the healthcare, I’ve always wanted to work with children and babies. I’m just not confident enough to pick what to do and if I’m smart enough for it.
What do you regret in life?
Hey there, I was wondering what you regretted in your life such as misbehaving in class, not caring about certain oppurtinities that would've helped you with life, or even rejecting offers that were huge. I'm going to 7th grade, and I just wanted to know if there's anything that I should not do, or should do. In addition to that, I also want to know people's experiences.

How can we build a stable life, when work forces us to constantly move?
I honestly wonder: how do many people build lasting relationships, make long-term plans, move in together, start a family, have children, and maintain a strong social network when the job market and career opportunities often require moving from one city to another every few years? I have the impression that the only people who manage to build a stable life are those who start from a more solid position: a family fortune, an inheritance, a stable financial situation, or a well-paid job. Those who don't have these conditions find themselves chasing precarious job opportunities, constantly moving from one city to another in search of stability (of a life) that always seems postponed. Every move requires rebuilding part of one's life from scratch: new friendships, new social circles, new points of reference. It's a process that, in the long run, can become exhausting. (And for those who have been there, they know that sometimes, or rather, most of the time, they also have to rebuild their relationship with their partner.) On the one hand, there's professional ambition, the desire to grow and improve one's position at work. On the other, there's the need to stay in a place where bonds, friendships, and a sense of belonging have been built. These two needs often seem to conflict. Perhaps I'm missing something, but I struggle to understand how the two can be reconciled without completely sacrificing one of the two, unless we start from particularly favorable conditions.

MBA or Keep looking for a job?
I recently just got accepted to an MBA program with a good scholarship and I don't know if I should take it. It also means moving across the world, back home with the program starting in 2 months and I don't know if I'm ready for a change like that in such a short time span. The reason I'm doing an MBA is largely because I don't feel equipped at work and lack the business knowledge. I also want to start a business one day and I don't have the skills for that. I've also been job searching for the past year and I haven't had any luck with it. Mainly because I'm unsure about my direction. Would you recommend pursuing an MBA?

How can I build a career in medicine that combines scientific research and patient empathy, especially for individuals living with chronic illnesses?
My life hasn’t followed a straight line, but every challenge has shaped who I am and what I stand for. Losing my father to gun violence and living with Crohn’s disease taught me resilience early on. Instead of letting those experiences define my limits, I used them to define my purpose and deepen my empathy for others.

How do I decide between a stable, well-defined career path and a riskier path that could lead to greater innovation or impact?
I’m a high school senior with my intended major as civil engineering. I'm really into puzzles and other problems that require one to think outside the box. I know the value of stable and structured journeys, but what truly excites me is innovation and bigger-picture impact. This discord prompts my question.

How have setbacks shaped your academic and career goals?
Hello, my name is Justin and I am currently a 3rd year college student balancing both academics in psychology and a full-time medical work schedule. One of the mot significant setbacks I have faced has been managing time effectively while working and attending school. there were moments when I felt overwhelmed, struggled to meet deadlines, and questioned whether I was even capable of maintaining this lifestyle. However, these experiences ultimately forced me to develop stronger discipline, resilience, and time management. I began to create structured routines and started to hold myself accountable. These setbacks helped me realize that success is not always a straight path, but sometimes a process that requires adaptability and persistence. As I continue my path, in a particularly demanding field (healthcare), I recognize that these early challenges are preapring me for future obstacles. They have strengthened my work ethic and reinforced my commitment to building a stable and successful career.
