How will I make it?

I am an upcoming senior, I’m stressed about what I want to become and where I’m going to end up. I know I want to help children and do something in the healthcare, I’ve always wanted to work with children and babies. I’m just not confident enough to pick what to do and if I’m smart enough for it.

"How can I find and apply for a hospital internship as a 6th semester biotechnology bachelor student in Islamabad and Rawalpindi"?I am currently in my 6th semester and looking for an internship opportunity at a hospital or medical/research lab in Islamabad, Pakistan. I have not done an internship before. I want to know: Which hospitals or institutes in Islamabad and Rawalpindi offer internship programs for students? What is the application process — do I apply directly or through my university? Is orientation or training provided? Any advice for a first-time applicant would be very helpful."

What are the Best Ways for a Pre-Med Student Interested in PM&R to Gain Meaningful Clinical Experience before Medical School ?

As a current college sophomore transitioning into my junior year, I'm interested in pursuing a career that combines neuroscience, medicine, and social impact because I see healthcare as a bridge between wellness and justice. I have gained experience in lab/research settings, but I'm less familiar with direct patient interaction. For professionals in fields like physical medicine & rehabilitation (PM&R), what were the most valuable steps you took to gain clinical experience, and what early roles (e.g., clinical research coordinator, medical assistant) helped you prepare for medical school and patient-centered care?

What matters more? Education or experience?

I am currently a high school senior and plan to go into college to become a physical therapist, this question lingered on my mind if the experience in the field matters more than the education you learn in the classroom. Essentially I am wanting to see if hands-on and physically learning about physical therapy is better than learning from the books.

What is the best course of action, doing straight into getting my nurse practitioner license after getting my RN or working 1-2 years as an RN then getting my NP lisence??

I have been a certified medical assistant for 26 years, for primary care and urgent care. I have recently gone back to college to get my RN. I want to get my NP after my RN. I am wondering if I should just continue right after completing my RN to get my NP, or if I should work as an RN for a year or so, then get my NP? I feel I have a lot of experience and knowledge that I could go straight through; however, I am just wondering what the consensus would be for this. #Spring26
