What makes a great nurse? what are good methods of studying?
I want to make a positive impact in the world by caring for others, saving lives, and helping others get closer to achieving their goals in life.I am the first in my family to attend college. I am also the oldest of 3, I push myself to be great example for my brothers. Ive been working in a nursing home since I was 16 years old as a certified nursing assistant. Caring for others is something that comes natural to me. I grew up watching my grandmother being cared for when I was a child due to her being shot in the spine and becoming paralyzed from her C7 and down. My little brother was also born with wolf parkinson white (wpw) which is a heart disorder. With either being in the hospital because of my brother and watching my grandmother being cared for motivated me to be someone to help others. I want to be able to save lives one day I want to be the best nurse I can be. I can achieve my goals by attending college with 100% motivation to succeed. Once I become a nurse I want to work in the hospital either in the surgery room, ICU, or Emergency room. working full-time at a nursing home and a full-time student is thought but knowing what an impact I will make in the future pushes me to strive to be the best.
